- Autogas-Marine can successfully undertake Marine
petrol engine conversions either afloat or onshore. An "onshore"
conversion may require further fine tuning after launching. This is carried out as
part of our service at no extra charge to customers.
|
- Conversions are normally completed within three days.
This period may vary depending on the boat and engine layout. Tank size and
space availability, deck LPG filler fitting location, fuel line and electrical path
restrictions are a major cause of delay. Once we survey your boat a more accurate
time-frame will be advised.
|
- At Autogas-Marine, we are committed to ensuring that all
installations are completed to the highest safety standards. LPG conversions are undertaken by fully trained specialist
engineers. On completion of the conversion
the engine management safety and alarm system is tested.
|
- The LPG system does not require any adjustments or servicing
once installed. The only requirement is a once yearly inspection carried out by our
engineer to confirm that joints and fuel lines have not been damaged.
|
- The cost of an installation depends on the fitting space
available, fuel tank(s) chosen, engine(s) size and other components. It is only
possible to provide an accurate estimate after a (free) survey.
